The Challenge

Finding a partner they could trust

Exnova is a new multi-asset trading app. Like many trading platforms, Exnova attracted strong download volumes but saw a lower percentage of users completing deposits. The team needed to strengthen user engagement and convert app registrants into active traders, in order to drive sustainable app growth and revenue.

Maintaining efficiency in a highly volatile financial market, where performance fluctuates with trading trends, was key. However, finding a retargeting partner who could provide clear reporting, trustworthy data, and measurable results, was challenging.

The Solution

Segmentation for first-time and repeat deposits

Users were split into two main groups. On the one hand, we targeted users who had registered but never deposited, and who had opened the app in the last 1–30 days. On the other hand, we re-engaged users who had made at least one deposit in the past seven days to encourage repeat funding efficiently.

Regional optimization and budget flexibility

Campaigns were segmented by GEO and language to tailor messaging and performance goals to each market. Dynamic daily budget adjustments were implemented to maximize return and maintain efficiency across fast-moving markets.

Creative testing and transparent measurement

A/B tests were designed to identify the most effective creative concepts per region. Remerge’s proprietary ghost-bidding incrementality tool was leveraged to run tests and ensure results were both measurable and transparent.
