This privacy policy governs and details the main privacy principles we apply to the data we collect and process through our website

First, we would like to notify you, that this is a corporate website directed at corporate customers who may wish to interact with us as their clients. We do not sell anything via this website nor are consumers customers of remerge.

Our website is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 shall provide any personal information to the website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information through this website or on or through any of its features or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. COLLECTION. We collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, surname, email address and your industry directly from you when you choose to enter it into forms on our website, for example through the “Request a Demo”, “Schedule a Meeting”, “Download PDF” and “Subscribe” to our newsletter forms.

USE. We use this information for the purpose of responding to the request or inquiry you have submitted to us through the contact form or other entry field, to initiate business or perform under a contract (based on Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR). We also use this information for our own marketing purposes (based on Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR), such as to send you the requested newsletter or other promotional emails. To do so, we enter the data you have provided into our CRM system. At times, we might invite you to an event, which we believe you could benefit from or contact you via the email address you provided to expand our business relationship. You may at any time revoke your consent and choose to stop receiving our marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any of these communications.

NEWSLETTER. If you request our newsletter, we will regularly inform you on our products and campaigns. We use a double opt-in procedure to subscribe. Should you confirm your email address, we shall store your email address, the time of registration and the IP address used for the registration until you cancel the newsletter. This serves only the purpose of sending you the newsletter and providing evidence of your registration.

In our newsletter we use technologies to measure interaction with the newsletter (e.g. opening of the e-mail, links clicked). We use these data in aggregate form for general statistical evaluations and to optimise and develop our contacts and customer communication. This is done with the aid of embedded graphics (pixels). We do not combine this data with personal data. The legal basis for this is our foregoing legitimate interest under the terms of Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR. We wish to share topics which you that are actually relevant and try to better understand the interests of our readers. If you do not wish your use pattern to be analysed, you may cancel the newsletter or disable graphics in your email program at any time. The data relating to the interaction with our newsletter is stored pseudonymously for 30 days and then completely anonymised.

You may cancel the newsletter at any time. An unsubscribe link is placed in every newsletter. A message to the contact details given below or in the newsletter also is fine. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR.

INFORMATION SHARING. We do not share your information with third parties for their promotional purposes. We may share your information with our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and trusted third party service providers working under the instruction of remerge, such as an email service provider, hosting provider or data center, exclusively for storage purposes. Such third parties who provide services on our behalf are authorized to use your personal information only as strictly necessary to provide these services to us.

OTHERS’ WEBSITES. Our site includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from ours. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy statements. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any website you visit. However, we do not provide any of your data to or receive any data from the targets of the social interaction buttons (“Follow Us”) on our website. Those are mere links to our representation on those social platforms.


THIRD-PARTY SERVICES. We use services whose providers are partly located in so-called third countries, i.e. countries whose data protection level does not correspond to that of the EU. Insofar as this is the case and the European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) for these countries, we have taken appropriate precautions to ensure an adequate level of data protection for any data transfers. These include standard contractual clauses of the EU or binding internal data protection regulations. Where this is not possible, we base the transfer of data on exceptions of Art. 49 GDPR, in particular your express consent or the necessity of the transfer for the performance of the contract. If a transfer to a third country is envisaged and no adequacy finding or suitable guarantees have been provided, it is possible that authorities in the third country in question (e.g. secret services) may gain access to the transferred data and that the enforceability of your data subject rights cannot be guaranteed. You will also be informed of this when your consent is obtained.

PASSIVE COLLECTION. As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include truncated Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site. Any session information is deleted upon termination of the respective browser session.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS. In order to optimize this website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how you use this website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. If the IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will previously be truncated by Google within the EU member states or EEA member states. Only in exceptional cases will the IP address be transferred to Google on a server in the United States and thereafter be truncated. On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address that was transmitted by your browser will not be combined by Google with any other data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. This website uses Google Analytics with its extension code “gat._anonymizeIp()“ so that IP addresses will therefore only be processed in a shortened form to prevent persons from being identified. This anonymized data will be retained for 14 months.

We do not process any of this information, directly or indirectly, with the help of a third party or otherwise, to determine your identity.

PARDOT. a) Explanation and purpose: This website uses Pardot, an analyzing tool of, Inc., The Landmark at One Market, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 9410, („Pardot”). Pardot uses cookies that are saved on your computer and enable us to analyze how you use our website by using field aliases. The cookies set by Pardot are (1) a so-called “Visitor Cookie” that generates an internal ID by which the browser of the visitor can be detected, (2) an “opt-in-cookie” that secures that no information is gathered about a user who has rejected tracking and (3) if applicable a “session cookie” if a customer logs in as user in the Pardot App. The cookies only contain an internal ID and no data that allow to directly refer to a certain person. The information collected by Pardot about the use of our website contain e.g. browser type/version, anonymized IP-address of your end device, time of the request, length of your visit on specific sites, downloaded data, etc. You can find further information about the cookies used by Pardot here.

We also use Pardot in the context of our e-mail-service. E-mails that are sent by using Pardot use tracking technologies. We employ this data to find out which content you’re interested in by tracking whether you open our e-mails and which contained links you follow. This information is used by us to improve the e-mails that we send to you and to improve the services offered by us and to adapt these to your interests.

The information is submitted to a Pardot server if applicable in the United States, where it is saved. Pardot utilizes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and Binding Corporate Rules for data transfers into third countries as part of their Data Processing Addendum.

Pardot uses the gathered information on our behalf on the basis of a concluded agreement to statistically evaluate the utilization of our website in an aggregated way, create reports about website activities and the behavior of users on our website and provide other analysing services for us related to the use of the website, e.g. about the effect of online-marketing-campaigns. These reports help us to analyse the use of our website and to improve it on a regular basis. The statistics gathered help us to improve our website and its content and design it in a way that is more attractive to you.

We don’t use the information collected by Pardot by using field aliases for the identification of specific persons and don’t combine it with other personal characteristics.

b) Disabling of cookies: You can disable the storage of cookies in your browser settings; furthermore, you can delete stored cookies in your browser. This may have the consequence that certain functionalities of the website can’t be used at all or that the use is of the website is less convenient.

d) Legal basis: Basis for the processing is Art. 6 1. lit. a) and f) GDPR. The legitimate interest for the processing is the analysis of usage data to identify and correct failures on this basis and in addition the optimization of the configuration of our website especially regarding the increase of the conversion rate.


The security of your information is fundamental to remerge. We have implemented physical and technical industry standard security measures, which include the use of firewalls and encryption to protect your personal information. You may ascertain yourself of the technological and organizational measures in place under Annex 1. However, as no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.


In operating the website, remerge processes data as a controller (as such terms are defined in the GDPR). As a controller, remerge is committed to fulfill data subjects’ GDPR, CCPA and similar regulations’ rights.

As an EU resident (however we provide these same options to non-EU residents), you may:

  • ACCESS the data that remerge keeps about you. We may need to ask you to provide us certain credentials to make sure that you are who you claim you are. If you find that the data is not accurate, complete or updated, then you may provide us with the necessary information to rectify it.
  • WITHDRAW your consent to the processing of your personal information. Exercising this right will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Request to DELETE OR RESTRICT ACCESS to your personal information. We may postpone or deny your request due to legitimate purposes, such as compliance with regulatory requirements associated with us.

If you exercise one (or more) of the above-mentioned rights, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law, you may request to be informed that third parties that hold your personal information, in accordance with this Policy, will act accordingly.

  • You may OBJECT to the processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes.

Notwithstanding the above, the California Consumer Privacy Act permits users of our website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
